This is Enchant (aka Sugar Dot); the face of a formerly slaughter-bound horse. In April 2006, this Quarter Horse broodmare, deemed no longer useful by a previous owner, was sold to a Washington State horse dealer that is part of the pipeline providing a Canadian owned company with U.S. horses for slaughter in Canada. Enchant was rescued from such a fate. Please support H.R.6598, the Prevention of Equine Cruelty Act amendments to the Horse Protection Act, as well as HR 503 & SB 311, and keep America's horses from shipping to equine kill factories in Mexico and Canada.
